Quinta da Plansel also offers an accommodation in the form of an idyllic farm where it is possible to stay to relax a bit, enjoying the peaceful days in Alentejo, culminating with a tasting of wines.
The restored house is just five minutes walk from the wine cellar and offers enough space for two couples, has an open kitchen, a large garden with terrace and a barbecue.
In the garden you can see the historic fountain (Nora) which belongs to the property. As supplementary means of retreat we suggest hiking through the countryside, bicycle tours, visiting the historic part of Montemor.
Quinta da Plansel offers visits to the vineyards and installations, including wine tastings accompanied by regional products. The visit and wine tasting session lasts approximately 1h30 and can be performed in English, German, Italian and Portuguese, subject to availability. Reservations must be made in advance.
You can choose from the following options:
Bronze - 7.00€/person (2 wines - without stagein barrels)
Silver - 10.50€/person (2 wines - between 6 to 12 months of maturation in wood barrels)
Gold - 14.50€ /person (4 wines - between 6 to 12 months of maturation in wood barrels)
*Top wines have an increased cost per bottle
Just visit Winery and Gallery (min. - 2 pax; max.- 40 pax) 4.50 €/person
Buffets (min. - 6 pax; max.- 40 pax, includes a visit to the winery, art gallery, wine tasting and meal)
